This is how I'll be trying to incorporate campaign text into a single thread. In-character stuff goes into the quote box, and OOC stuff/commentary/planning is regular text.

How's that for format? Suggetions?

EDIT: It's also worth noting that the imgur album I'll be using can be found here.

I like that idea, Shawn. So, along with in-character conversation, the non-quoted things your character does go into the quote box as well? (Such as, "Elwynn begins to sing!")

I was actually thinking about that. Italics on this version of the board are pretty easy to do, so I had something like this in mind, since the in-character stuff needs to include actions too:

A mysterious, elderly looking man, approaches you as you walk through the dense thicket in the forest.


"Well there, I didn't think I'd see another soul in these parts! What brings you out here?"

The man leans on his bow as he talks, as though tired just from talking to you.

I know I'll write this down in a rules thread at some point, but note to self: Preview is my friend.

Figured I could use this test post to confirm that I can use Invisible Castle properly. I'll post as though this is an actual action in battle.

"I-I... I won't let you win!"

Kiana's steed lets out a cry, then she and her mount dash across the battlefield, attempting to overrun one of the bandits in order to take down their leader!

(1d20+4=6, 1d20+4=17, 2d8+3=15)

And probably failed miserably because 6 overrun!

"N-no!"
